What's New

A box recently started appearing above my content (where a header would be). This hasn't been there in the past and I haven't altered my journal style. Is this a change to LJ or am I missing something?

Please see the screencaps below (or view the issue on my journal).

Please tell me what happened...

It appears the background color on my comments section just disappeared on me. I don't think this is an LJ issue but I wanted to run it past you all.

When I look at my comments below my posts it looks like this:

SOLVED - I think I figured it out. Thanks.

1. I'm wondering if there is a way to change my skiplinks to the newer form of LJ's skiplinks.

2. LJ also just updated the comment controls. I'm wondering if there is a way to do this with coding as well...

As you can see the date and subject stop where the usericon is. How can I get both the date and subject to be above the usericon.

I'm hoping this isn't a product of my coding but after the last update (which caused issues) I started noticing this bar coming up across my posts with comments in them. You should be able to see it HERE. If not it looks like this:

I'm trying to figure out how to fix this... when I look into the coding of the page it is telling me it is part of the footer section but it never was in the past. I had always been part of the .box section.

I'm hoping there is an easy fix.

Something seems to have happened with my style sheet. I am getting this message when I look at my entries with comments:

Error running style: Died in S2::run_code running EntryPage::print(): Method called on null Comment object at 'Flexible Squares' (#4472608) line 2506 at /home/lj/src/s2/S2.pm line 544, line 6636.

Help will be greatly appreciated

I have no idea how to put the mood icon on the right while all the other metadata is stick to the left. I now you can change it with the "right", "left" option in the layer but I have no idea how to make the space or where to put it: CSS or layout.

Any help will be appreciated. I have a paid account. Thanks!

i'm using a stylesheet from refutare for my community cancer. it's a free account. i can't seem to get userpics to the left of the entries to display properly. is there any way to disable the contextual pop-up? i think that's what's causing this problem. there's a rectangle behind the icon that i can't get rid of. when i inspected it, it said that it was under the .userpicfriends class.

basically the contextual pop-up is blocking the userpics from displaying in the right place.

here is the code:

any and all help is appreciated.

i replaced my old userpic codes with these:

I've been using the LJ-Like system on a community I run and in doing so have noticed it is messing with spacing.

You should be able to see it here:

For whatever reason the LJ-Like buttons aren't staying at the bottom of the text but extending so they are past the sidebar. This happens when they show up viewing all posts or you are physically in the post with the LJ-Like.

I'm stumped as to how to correct it. I've got it on clear: left; which isn't helping. I tried float which just puts it outside of the post.

Any help would be appreciated.
